Paid (Ilizarov) Clinical Fellowship
This is a paid position. A stipend of approximately $47,000 per year is offered (prorated for 6-month fellowships). Benefits include paid health care, life, and medical malpractice insurance coverage for the fellow. The fellow is responsible for all meals, off-site lodging, and travel.
To be eligible, the following qualifications are required:
- Current USMLE Certification for foreign medical graduates (applicant is responsible for acquiring this)
- Approval of Program Directors (after evaluation of curriculum vitae and reference checks)
- Must be approved for appointment by RIAO Medical Staff Office (applicant is responsible for acquiring this)
- Must be approved for medical staff privileges at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore (applicant is responsible for acquiring this)
- ECFMG sponsorship for visa (ICLL will assist applicant in the application process)
- Must be eligible for a full Maryland Medical License or a Maryland Medical Training License (applicant is responsible for acquiring this).
Unpaid (International) Research Fellowship
To be eligible, the following qualifications are required:
- Approval of Program Directors (after evaluation of application, curriculum vitae, reference checks, and a telephone interview)
- Visa acquired through RIAO (ICLL will assist applicant in the application process).
This is an unpaid position. The fellow is responsible for all meals, lodging, and travel. On-site accommodations are available to unaccompanied fellows only at a rate of $100 per month plus all telephone charges. This accommodation is not available to paid clinical fellows or to fellows who are accompanied by their spouses and/or family members.
